Russell R. Lewis

1970-

“In a time of computer-generated art through downloadable applications, there is nothing that compares to the soul, passion, and desire of the human spirit & the human experience. That will always be the difference and the value in the work. This I stand on.”

Russell Lewis is a Washington, DC native who attended the prestigious Duke Ellington School of the Arts. His passion and skill saturate his paintings with vivacity. Lively colors dance around the canvas as his intriguing use of texture commands the eye to closer scrutiny.
